About Me
Hi, I’m Leah.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been curious. Curious about nature, curious about people, and curious about the stories and experiences that shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us.
That curiosity has followed me through many different seasons of life. It’s been there as a homeschool parent watching my children learn and discover the world. It’s been there as a caregiver, learning how important it is to care for others without losing yourself along the way. It’s there now in my work as a 911 dispatcher, where I’m reminded every day that behind every call is a person, a story, and a moment where someone is trying to navigate something difficult.
And it’s what led me to coaching.
Not because I believe anyone has life completely figured out, but because I believe there is value in having a space to slow down, reflect, ask meaningful questions, and see things from a different perspective.
I believe we all experience deserts. Seasons that feel uncertain, overwhelming, or different than what we imagined. But I don’t believe the goal is always to escape those seasons as quickly as possible. Sometimes growth begins when we pause long enough to understand where we are, what we’re carrying, and what might still be growing beneath the surface.
The heart behind Thriving in Deserts is walking alongside people as they navigate those seasons, creating a space to pause, look closer, and discover the next step forward.
